On May 22, 2025, the team from the Faculty of Dentistry within the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova conducted dental education and prophylaxis activities at the 'Childhood Rainbow' Full-Day Kindergarten.

Over 80 children participated in the activities, engaging in interactive sessions on the importance of oral hygiene, demonstrations of correct brushing techniques, and a presentation of the 'Health Caravan' initiative.

The implementation team consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Andreea Stănuși, Assistant Lecturer Dr. Anca Gheorghe, Assistant Lecturer and PhD Student Adrian Stănuși, alongside student volunteers from the Craiova Dental Students' Society.

The activity took place as part of the 'Smile and Health through Education' project, initiated by UMF Craiova in partnership with the 'Carol Davila' University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the National Institute of Public Health, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, and the County School Inspectorates.

Following the activities, each child received informative materials for the entire family, as well as oral hygiene products adapted to their age and individual needs, provided with the support of our partner, Elmex.
