On November 6, 2025, the Mobile Unit of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova traveled to the 'Nicolae Bălcescu' Middle School No. 39, where 120 students, aged between 10 and 13 years, benefited from oral health education activities.

During the initiative, the students received information on oral hygiene rules, correct methods for maintaining dental health, and the importance of prophylaxis in dentistry, with an emphasis on preventing common oral diseases for this age group.

The activities were conducted by a multidisciplinary team consisting of Associate Professor Dr. Oana Diaconu, Assistant Professor Dr. Andreea Stănuși, Assistant Lecturer Dr. Mihaela Brătoiu, and PhD Student Cristian Băcanu, alongside student volunteers from the Craiova Dental Students' Society, who contributed to delivering the information in an accessible manner, tailored to the students' level of understanding.
