The Faculty of Dentistry within the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova

conducts a series of dental education, prevention, and prophylaxis activities through its mobile unit and institutional projects dedicated to oral health.

These actions target preschool and school-age children, as well as vulnerable groups and the general population, taking place in educational institutions, social centers, and within national public health campaigns. 

Beneficiaries receive information on oral hygiene, correct brushing techniques, the role of a balanced diet, and the importance of prophylaxis in dentistry,

while also having the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the dental environment and equipment in an age-appropriate setting.

Teaching staff, PhD students, and students from the Faculty of Dental Medicine participate as volunteers in these activities, in partnership with academic institutions, public authorities, and national organizations, thereby contributing to raising awareness regarding the importance of maintaining oral health and regular dental check-ups.
