Digital radiography is a fast and efficient imaging diagnostic method that uses X-rays to visualize the internal structures of the body, especially bones and joints. This technique allows for the acquisition of clear and precise images, essential for evaluating trauma, pulmonary pathology, musculoskeletal disorders, and more.
The Imaging Department is equipped with the Siemens MULTIX Impact digital radiography system, which offers advanced performance and optimal ergonomics in a modern and compact design. The equipment features a high-resolution flat panel detector with a large coverage area, enabling rapid examinations with low radiation doses and excellent image quality.
The system is supported by the myExam Companion software platform, which optimizes acquisition protocols based on the patient type and anatomical region, simplifying the examination process and reducing operator variability. Thanks to the motorized U-arm, the mobile unit, and the flexible positioning capability, the MULTIX Impact ensures increased patient comfort and enhanced efficiency in the clinical workflow, making it ideal for both standard investigations and complex or mobility-impaired cases.
