A visit to the transfusion centre can save your life. Every donation requires testing, and early testing massively reduces the diagnosis of infections in advanced stages of disease. UMF Craiova invites the whole community to the mobile information and testing centre set up at the Regional Blood Transfusion Centre ( No. 1 Tabaci Street).
Throughout this week, daily from 7:00-11:00 a.m., visitors will receive information about the vital implications of visiting your nearest blood center, the benefits of the loyalty program, and the feeling of security you receive with every donation and testing. On request, they will be tested free of charge for liver virus C.
The event is part of a new UMF Craiova campaign dedicated to informing and educating the population throughout the region, the "#Save a Life!" #Save your life!"campaign .
On Friday, the UMF Craiova information and testing caravan will arrive in Pitești, on the occasion of Argeș Days.
The campaign is organized by UMF Craiova in partnership with UMF "Carol Davila" Bucharest, Regional Blood Transfusion Centre Craiova, Association for Youth Promotion, AbbVie.
