Objective 1.1: This phase will be primarily aim at acquiring and breeding of transgenic animals that will be used in the present project.
Objective 1.2: Within this stage the toxicity of Na channel blockers will be tested on existing non-transgenic animal in the animal facility of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova.

2P-LSM studies on young animals that received sodium channel blocker will be performed. This will help understand how Na blockers will influence microglia dysfunction in incipienteale stages of AD.

Activity 2.1.1 - 2P-LSM images will be acquired that will be corelated with young animals excitability
Activity 2.1.2 - 2P-LSM images will be acquired that will be corelated with old animals excitability
