Mission of the Faculty of Midwives and Nursing

We train professionals in nursing, radiology and imaging. The teaching and scientific research mission of the Faculty of Midwives and Nursing is to train specialists in these fields, in accordance with the legal provisions on the practice of the profession of general nursing and midwives (COR Codes 2221, 2222), to provide treatment and care services to people who are physically or mentally ill, disabled or infirm, and to others who need care because of potential health risks, including before, during or after childbirth. They take responsibility for the planning, management and assessment of patient care, including the supervision of other health care workers, working independently or in teams with doctors and others in the practical application of preventive and curative measures.

Graduates will be able to meet the requirements of maintaining the health of beneficiaries in the country and throughout the European Community and beyond, knowing and applying the specific nursing process, as well as to train specialists with skills in the areas of nursing research, which will enable the profession to become a science.

We identify and support graduates' involvement in the student educational process. We train specialists who care for the human being through a comprehensive and holistic approach.
